Every Cannida technician working in pre-1978 properties is individually EPA-certified under the Renovation, Repair, and Painting rule. Required by federal law. Not optional.
We're aligned with the DC Department of Energy & Environment's lead-paint protocols, including pre-rental clearance and lead-hazard determination response.
Every project ships with full documentation: certifications, sample chain-of-custody, lab reports, and the final clearance certificate.
A single-family residential assessment starts varies and includes XRF testing on suspect surfaces, dust-wipe sampling on floors and sills, and a written report with hazard determination and recommended scope. Larger properties or commercial spaces are quoted based on scope.
A booking fee reserves your assessment slot. If you proceed with Cannida for the remediation work, it’s applied to your final invoice. If you decide not to proceed after the assessment, the fee is fully refundable.
Most assessments are scheduled within one business day. Emergency response (active DOEE notice, stop-work order, or post-incident testing) can typically be scheduled within 24–48 hours. Call (240) 555-0100 for urgent scheduling.
